Art is an expression of life, meaning that it expresses emotions. Creation that allows interpretation of any kind is art. I have read that art is human. I have read that art is a human ability as opposed to nature, a skill applied to music, painting, poetry, etc. I think that nature is also art.
If something is done a certain way, it's beautiful in its own right. In my opinion, I believe that there is a God who is an artist who created everything. The interpretation of art depends on a person's experiences, visionary thoughts, culture and associations. Art is like love; there can be many definitions and examples for everyone.
Therefore, I believe that art is not perfection; art is something that continues to develop as it is seen, that is, it opens up all human capacities, thoughts and emotions. Art is a creation that represents freedom for whatever the spectator wants art to be, whether it's the person who created it or the person who is viewing the art. Art is about allowing those experiences to be intelligible and recognized in the thoughts and emotions of the world. An example that was mentioned in class was the image of a dot on a canvas.
What was the artist thinking when he created this? A classmate asked: How do we know that the artist wasn't genuinely transmitting a feeling or an emotion on the canvas? The truth is that I can't say what the artist's message was for me, but I felt that I wanted the spectator to identify with art. The person looking at the painting would have to find meaning for themselves. Is that art? I would have to say yes, because the work posed a question and the artist leaves me wondering if I can associate myself with this point, thinking about what I can associate with a point on a canvas. Can that particular piece of art be random? This begs the question: Is randomness art? Yes, because that point causes the person to think and question. Art can also have intentions, suggesting that the artist might try to make the person think, to associate with the point.
Art is a form of expression and a way of communicating. Just like language is used to communicate with each other, I think art is a great way to talk to other people. I don't see art as a skill or a hobby. I see it as a way of life. When someone says something in a language, it's restricted by region and sometimes by our own minds.
Art is something that surpasses all that. Conceptual art is an avant-garde movement that emerged in the 1960s and that fundamentally challenges the traditional limits of art. Art as a representation of external existence (it is true that “seen through a temperament”) has been replaced by art as an expression of the inner life of the human being.
